Brand new trailer for Bournemouth Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets

The trailer, generously funded by a grant from the Connaught Trust, has proven to be an invaluable asset to our unit. Its addition has significantly enhanced our logistical capabilities, allowing us to transport equipment to and from courses, events, and training exercises without compromising the seating capacity in our minibus. This means our cadets and adult volunteers can travel together comfortably, fostering a stronger sense of Unit.

Not only does the trailer improve transport efficiency, but it has also reduced the strain on our vehicles and minimized the need for multiple trips, saving time and fuel costs. On-site, especially during extended courses and outdoor events, the trailer allows us to move essential kit between locations with ease—tasks that would have otherwise required a second vehicle. This flexibility ensures that we can set up and break down more efficiently, allowing cadets to focus on their training and development without logistical delays.

Additionally, the trailer has enhanced our ability to participate in larger regional and national events by enabling us to transport more specialized equipment, which further enriches the experience for our cadets.

We are incredibly grateful for the Connaught Trust's support and would like to extend our heartfelt thanks on behalf of everyone at TS Phoebe. Your generous contribution has made a lasting impact on our unit's ability to train and develop future leaders.
